How much does an advertising schedule on Blue Wave Radio cost?-

From as little as $2 per day… But that depends on your goal. If you have a giant sale that is going on NOW… bad news … it’s too late… If you are an institutional business or a restaurant… completely different goal. IF you sell or rent cars… completely different goals… If you have multiple locations… completely different goals… My suggestion is that we meet and determine a plan for you. This is important because I want our radio to work for you. If we produce an effective result, then the investment is worth it. And radio works… We can’t reach everyone… but we do reach enough people every day that they can tell their friends what they heard on the radio…


How fast does Radio work?-

If you are giving away $1000 to the first 100 customers at your business tomorrow… Radio will work really fast… But I doubt that you are doing that… My suggestion, learned from a lifetime, is that telling people about you and your business, (basically what advertising is for), is much like exercising to lose weight or get a better physique. It rarely happens “overnight”. It takes regular work to spread the word. I find that it takes about 90 days of steady exposure for ads to work… OR a really intense schedule for three weeks… You may not have that kind of budget. But that’s no reason not to start…


Is Radio a good combination with Facebook?-

Absolutely… Did you know that SIX NEW FACEBOOK pages are created EVERY SECOND… So you share with your friends list… but if you aren’t the most socially connected person, it’s hard to get people to like your page… So how are they going to hear about it?
People are buying your expertise or the quality of your products. This is not something everyone has spent a lifetime learning or researching…
Let’s be realistic… Do you tell everyone that you know about a “FACEBOOK” page for a new business. NO… highly unlikely. But RADIO can tell many people about your FACEBOOK page…
Those people in part, share that information with others… and that works…
In addition, RADIO can tell a story about you… and why people should visit your FACEBOOK page to find out more… Best of all… It gets your name in circulation and that can lead to a visit on Facebook you won’t get with your current “friends” list.


What does it cost to build a website?-

We can build a website simple website for $500 plus you pay for the annual hosting, SSL and domain name fees … As long as it’s simple, the number of pages don’t matter… Of course you provide all written copy and photos. This may be all you need. A Website is an online magazine… If you need something more sophisticated like a storefront, the price will be higher… A website is also a work in constant progress… If you want video, blogging, to create a newsletter… all of these things can be created for your business. What is meant by CONTENT MANAGEMENT?-

We create and post content that helps you attract more consumers and tells your story. We work with you to develop content. When it comes to the internet or Facebook or Radio… the saying is “CONTENT is KING (or QUEEN)” … A great logo isn’t going to get you customers… it’s is going to allow you to look professional. What you put on those platforms needs to attract eyes… PEOPLE want to be entertained. That’s the reality… I spent 25 years in San Diego, CA as a radio show host… Most of my time was spent creating content for BROADCAST (my radio show), THE INTERNET (our on-line magazine with stories and articles), FACEBOOK (the way we made access to our promotions immediately available, and VIDEO (production of online video for our audience that included everything from live in-studio performances to interviews with famous celebrities.) Due to the swift moving nature of electronic media, this was done on a daily basis… We are used to deadlines in Electronic Media that don’t exist in other types of operations. We were small operation by industry standards with an amazing team… and we delivered to our audience daily. (There is nothing more challenging than creating content daily for an entertainment entity.)


You do video production. Do you have examples?-

Yes. Here are several links… The quality of the production is based on your budget.
There are full-length music videos made for a theatrical production. There are small fun videos made to promote events for local charities.

The biggest consideration is what are you using it for. My experience with this, learned in marketing a radio station in San Diego, California is there is a trade-off. What behavior are you trying to create and how much do you need to spend? It needs to be quality, but at what price? I’ve worked with companies that spent $40,000 on just their LOGO… But their logo was going to be seen daily by hundreds of thousands of people. On Facebook … the average length of viewing is less than 10 seconds… That’s your window…
